You have complete right on your baby's cord blood specimen and can use for anyone in the family or outside the family provided HLA group of the patient matches with that of the cord blood.

Your baby's cord blood can be retrieved anytime from our lab after it has been processed.

Kindly provide a written request along with a doctor's report stating the nature of the disease and the amount of stem cells required to treat the disease. Additionally, you are required to sign a form that releases the company from the liability of the stem cells in case the entire sample is needed for the treatment of the disease.

Upon receipt of your request the cord blood specimen will be dispatched to the designated hospital within a period of 14 working days.

There are no additional charges involved at time of retrieval except for the "Refundable Deposit" for the Dry Shipper which will be given to you for carrying the stem cells and the transportation charges (at actual) charged.

Cryopreserved stem cells are transported at below -150°C to the designated hospital. Our dry-shippers are designed to maintain the critical temperature below -150°C for a period of 7-10 days. Thus we can safely transfer the cryo-preserved stem cells anywhere in the world without losing the efficacy of the cells.

Temperature inside is continuously monitored during the transit to ensure that adequate temperature control has been maintained.

The stem cells should be thawed only at the time of transplantation procedure and should be used up within a couple of hours after being thawed.
