Secure Storage Facility
BabyCell employs extensive measures to ensure the security of our facility and the integrity of the cells stored.
Access to the facility is strictly controlled. The facility mans central monitoring system and alarm system for unauthorized access to the building, laboratory, cryogenic storage area, server room and client records room.
State-of-the-art video surveillance systems monitor all building entrances, our laboratory and our cryogenic storage room.
The building is provided with necessary fire protection and fire fighting equipments. An on-site diesel generator serves as emergency back-up power.
Accurate & Precise Temperature Control
BabyCell's Liquid Nitrogen Diwars feature the most stable and precise cryogenic temperature control.
Diwar temperature is continuously monitored through automatic computerized system with an alarm and SMS alert if necessary. The liquid nitrogen supply is automatically controlled using a sensor that is activated at -160ºC.
Backup supply of 5,000 gallon bulk tank provides approximately 30 days supply of liquid nitrogen in case of crises.
Ultimate protection against cross contamination
BabyCell adopts the best technologies to avoid sample exposure to liquid nitrogen, which can transfer viruses, risking cross-contamination. Each sample is encased in an outer protective layer to ensure the barcode never detaches from the sample. This system provides the most secure, long-term storage available.
